@@zazaland Kenya is like aged wine or good coffee. Some of the Afro-diaspora cannot endure its brand and flavour. East Africans are not typically like the West Africans that most of you the diasporans understand as "the real Africa', whatever that means. So we meet quite a few of the diasporans who get to Nairobi and get permanently irritated. Visit first, and see if it slaps right. See if you can stand our many bad habits too. I live in Westlands. Lovely place. You can walk everywhere. For $1,800 a month you can get a mansion on your own acre in Karen. For $500 a month you can get a 3br apartment in Westlands. The accommodation is empty and unfurnished and you can't rent it for less than a year. You'll also need a deposit equal to 2 months rent.

I first discovered Troy when Brittney Caldwell interviewed him a year ago (Hottest Party Promoter in Nairobi? ). They had a great discussion. This was when she was still in Nairobi (she's now in Nigeria). I could tell that Troy was really well connected in Kenya. I'm glad Auston has met him. I mentioned the Alchemist (cool bar) and Mercado (Mexican restaurant) to Auston in an earlier video. It was interesting to hear Troy recommend them as well. At the Alchemist there's Mama Rocks Gourmet Burgers. The two Black women who run the burger joint are worth a visit by themselves. A lot of viewers would find them very interesting. As a compliment to Troy's basic feeling about Kenya, I would highly recommend the video that Sabbatical did in Kenya when he was leaving the country (The Reason That I Hate Kenya). Troy is an African American; Sabbatical is a White American (he has an excellent command of Swahili). Both seem to view Kenya in roughly the same way. I would also recommend the video that J&K Lovett did 5 years ago (Is Nairobi, Kenya Dangerous?). By the way, I have some cousins who look just like Troy. It's very interesting. 😀 Personally, I think that Troy, Brittney and Auston can together create a very interesting business in Nairobi, given their respective people skills. Brittney could do it as a remote job from Nigeria. I'm thinking in terms of some kind of company geared toward African Americans who are interested in checking out Kenya. I know this sounds vague but I'm just thinking out loud. Don't mind me. There's nothing wrong with wishful thinking. 😀

If you have money, Africa is paradise, if you don't, it's a hell hole😂 but the beauty of it is that, most Africans are content with what they got, that's why if you go to a country like Malawi which is considered one of the poorest countries in Africa, you'll be amazed by how kind, warm and welcoming Malawians are, always smiling and laughing despite being in conditions that "society" would deem unlivable.

Nice penthouse. If I were to make a couple suggestions it would be to get rid of the small white couch with the ottoman and replace that with a small bar with a couple stools. He could then build shelves behind the bar and move the liquor from the top of the fridge to the shelves behind the bar. He could also put sheIves on the adjacent wall for his art pieces . Then I would also add a couple bar stools around the kitchen island and that’s it.
