Nowhere Girl from B movie is very reminiscent of the melody dance beat, piano keyboards...
@moondoggieist2 жыл бұрын
@@yvc9 No, it's not, there totally different styles. I was 18 years old when "Nowhere Girl" was released. It seems to me they were doing A Flock of Seagulls riffs with their keyboard and the tempo was much faster than "Utopia".

@@moondoggieist hence my use of the word reminiscent. It reminds ME of that song. It is MY opinion. Not yours. You think whatever you want. But don't tell me I'm wrong about interpreting things according to my own experience.
@moondoggieist2 жыл бұрын
@@yvc9 Opinions are based on emotion most of the time and I honor your opinion. I'm coming from experience of being a club DJ from 1983 to 1993. I still have over 1,000 vinyl records and over 700 compact discs just in storage just from the '80s and '90s, let alone 2,200 newer music for the last 2.5 decades on digital downloads on my computers. I see your point on a slight tempo on both tracks! I spent an hour playing them and overlapping them. There is tolerable mixing between the two, but not back-to-back if you're putting down there beats on a dance floor. My apologies if I offended you.
@yvc92 жыл бұрын
@@moondoggieist if you djd back then well i was one of the persons on the dance floor. 83 84 were the beginning of my club days. Your assessment comes from a more technical point of view than mine. Mine was of a more esoteric nature. I just think both songs share a certain "feel". Thats all. Highly subjective but still only my opinion.

Okay, hear me out. I think she is saying that we will inevitably create the fictional worlds such as 1984 or Farenheight 451 by engaging in what corporations want; consumer control. Alexa is a stepping stone to everyone having big brother installed in their home without even knowing it. We are already seeing instances of unauthorized monitoring by companies. The woman in red is the representation of her growing fears brought to life. Great song :)

The only intellectual comment on this video lol. Couldnt agree more my man. Although i felt like the red dress represented nature, an escape from dystopian reality if you will. More people need to be aware of globalism
@crackedLCDsalvage6 жыл бұрын
The red represents life, in it's primitive form, it represents blood, passion, desire which is contrasted to achromatic colours of her apartment and her controlled life. The caterpillars represent life trying to escape from such ''human'' conditions. To silence her desires from true colours of life, she eats the caterpillar.

They should ditch the community radio crap and allow that station to grow up focus on hip urban young music all the time they have the best transmitter in TO. now they could be huge.
