I spent Saturday and Sunday on the Puffing Billy. This video has clips from the first, third, and fourth departures from Belgrave. Those are the trains that don't go beyond Lakeside. The first departure had one of the 2-6-2T Prairie locomotives double-headed with the South African Garrett as far as Menzies Creek. The Garrett continued to Lakeside with the first section while the Prairie took the second section back to Belgrave. The third departure from Belgrave used the Prairie while the fourth used the Garrett. This video combines clips from both days. The Prairie on the first day was no. 8A (no. 12A operated the Gembrook train, which is featured in a separate video) while the Prairie on the second day was no. 12A (8A was on the Gembrook train).
