Best weather channel by a mile . Just how the weather should be shown with out all the click bait that the others do.
@WeatherWatchTV19 күн бұрын
Thanks heaps for that, we make an effort to focus on likely set-ups rather than making it all about most views. If we focused on main centres only it would be quite dull :)

What's with all the storms in the southern Ocean? The polar vortex doesn't seem to be settling down, will be a short summer in western tassie methinks😢.
@WeatherWatchTV19 күн бұрын
Yeah until they die down more it will be a spring-like summer (or what we call a "New Zealand summer" :) Not sure why they are so much bigger this year.

Looks like norfolk Island might just possibly get some showers mid week this week. The fire ban starts the 16th, so yes, it's getting dry here .

Humidity is 74% here in Morayfield today.

What was the air temperature? Am guessing around 30? (feels like closer to 40!)
@bethlinsdell566619 күн бұрын
@ Yes, it technically wasn’t a ‘hot’ day for us. Around 29 degrees. However it is sooo humid 🙂. Gotta love a Queensland summer 🌺

What does the red line mean?
@WeatherWatchTV16 күн бұрын
Measures air thickness - so hot, humid, air. (although loses moisture over the deserts). When that red line drops south, so too does the heat and humidity.

Must be summer.

@WeatherWatchTV19 күн бұрын
Will try to, we don't have very good wind maps that look good on screen (too many lines and distracting imagery) but am looking to focus more on the severe wind risks each week.

@@Leo555ZZZ Yep, I live in the northern tablelands, and I have witnessed many a wet weather event head in your direction, in recent months. We've been getting good rain as well.

@@deanpd3402 Yes I have seen that , sometimes it dries up before it gets to us , but usually we get something,,water tanks have been full just about all year long.
