When in the service, I spoke with Aborigines on 2 separate occasions in the north and south of Australia. I was surprised to learn how much they look up to AA's for inspiration. I saw injustice there that broke my heart. An Aboriginal woman as dark as Wesley Snipes (a good thing 🙂👍) was begging alms on the street. The way the "others" treated her made me feel compassion for her. I knew how that felt, to be treated less than. I went and talked to the woman, gave her some money and let her know she was loved and not worthless. I was told point blank by one of the "others" that they did not like "black" people. They were referring to the Aboriginals. I never spoke to that person again. The Aboriginals I spoke with opened my eyes to alot of things. We had really good convo and there was nothing but love between us. I let them know that our people see them and they are not invisible nor forgotten. The weird thing is that the "others" treated my kind with more respect than the ones that were right there in their own backyard who are the indigenous people of that land. 🤔🤷🏾♀️ Went to other parts of the pacific, Asia, and observed something similar but it was more in the way of colorism. Colonialism truly needs to die. Just in case you were confused, there is no master race or superior morality. We have ALL fallen short and missed the mark. Make no mistake, death is the great equalizer of us all. Killing someone because you feel they are beneath you will only bring temporary gain. In the end, you too will die but who will be there to truly mourn your absence? May these ancient and wonderful people find strength to overcome and may the young man rip. Condolences to his family. 🙏💕

@evangeline77x2 жыл бұрын
That line of thinking is exactly what created the cycle of systemic oppression/prejudice in the first place. Society shouldn't just go around punishing entire communities of innocent people for grievances against a few individuals. It doesn't work and has been proven to only cause further harm by escalating/compounding the problems. Historically perceived wrong doings perpetrated by minorities have been commonly used to blanket entire groups as unfavorable or dangerous in turn justifying the oppression and persecution that group; Literally every single genocide in history begins with the justification that there is something innately "wrong" with an entire group of people because of their proximity to X offense, whether that offense is real or perceived doesn't matter. The entire group is deemed a threat to the majority and therefore they must be oppressed and removed to ensure the safety and welfare of the majority. But that thought process does not track and once the first "offensive" group is neutralized, the target always expands to include other groups perceived to be in close proximity to the first. In WWII the targeted demographic very quickly swerved past the Jewish community to smaller minority groups like 'gypsies', and on and on until eventually anyone 'non-Aryan' needed to be eradicated for "the greater good"; the target only continues to expand until eventually everyone is deemed as wrong/dangerous (in WWII this included anyone with special needs, mental/physical disabilities, orphans, elderly/infirm, the poor, the LGBT, etc). The group in power being the only exception, at which point inevitably the main group will begin to splinter and persecute eachother for "wrong think". This is the natural progression of that line of thought, without fail everytime. Once the door is opened to punish innocent people for their mere proximity to what is socially deemed offensive/unfavorable, it is a very slippery slope. If society began accepting vigilante justice against the innocent families of "bad" cops (eg criminals, those who use their position and their badge to commit acts of violence and abuse) where does that end? Clearly the US justice system needs overhauled on every level, however fighting against systemic police brutality and targeted violence by engaging in targeted violence and brutality only results in further innocent blood shed and ensures the cycle will continue to repeat. This is why vigilante "justice" is not a concept that should be entertained, especially not in a positive light.

God is not mocked…. Everyone shall reap what they sow. If you think you can torture and kill someone and that not come back to you and your loved ones than you are a fool. NOBODY is exempt from Gods judgment no matter what your race, religion, or economic status. You are Not exempt from Gods wrath.
