I'm sure you may know this now, drive past this sandy entrance you got bogged in at Yardie Creek, go about 100 metres, go around the roundabout and there right in front of you is a nice hard beach to cross Yardie Creek. Still good idea to let your tyres down to 20 psi front 22 psi rear and caravan down to 25 psi for the run to winderabandi. At Winderabandi entrance, go down again 12 and 14 and maybe 18 to 20 in the van, don't be scared to go down even more.

Yes, thank you. We did this track on the way out and had no dramas at all. When we drove into winderabandi we had no dramas dramas with the sand being soft as we were on the beach but can see how people get caught out in the bush sites. 👌
