In this The Full Scale - Fishing Adventures video, Lubin heads to the land of the giant black bream, Port Pirie in South Australia. Using the ever-reliable Zman grubs in the mangroves Lubin searches out some big black bream while sight fishing the creeks.

People would fish their entire life and wouldn't hook a bream over 30. You hooked a few monsters in the one session. Amazing that these fish have survived this long to grow to that size. I dare say that some of those bream have never seen a human. Subbed! Great video.

What a great fishery to enjoy your sport. That is fishing at its finest. Any sight fishing is excellent and the calibre of bream is incredible. I think its got to be on my bucket list of places. A red letter day well done for caring about such old beautiful fish so others can enjoy them.

Love the video mate, bream fishing is fun all around Aust, i have caught them in Weipa Nth,Qld, and they were good size fish to, back home in Brisbane my best silver bream is 45cm , and released i kept a three pound fish that day and he was smaller, I have said in my 70 years of fishing, BREAM can be one of the best and challenging fish to target, i just love it. Caught one when i was a kid (35+) years ago, Snowdens beach in South Australia, fishing an un weighted rock crab into the slip weigh at beswick boat yard. Not sure how big it was but in the old 20lt mayo bucket, head jammed in the corner at the bottom tail just sticking out of the top. She was a beauty.

I know it was hard to let the old one go lol yep went with the renegade as it was an easy swap over, just got the hull and swapped everything else over to it. Really stoked how it turned out and it’s been a fish smashing weapon so far!

It really trips me out how different Black bream are from system to system, you'll have fish in one system that have weak soft fins and fight like this, then you'll have fish in another system that are extremely robust/powerful things that fight insanely hard! How can black bream be both the weakest and one of the strongest fish p4p?😂 Most likely has something to do with water condition and genetic diversity between the isolated populations, but still it trips me out!
