Australia’s economic outlook ‘very grim’ for the government

Former NSW Labor treasurer Michael Costa says Australia’s economic outlook is looking “very grim” with the growing risk of another rate hike.
“As I said at the time of the budget, I think that the budget was flawed in its strategy,” he told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“You’ve got to remember, we’re putting in another $40 billion of demand, that’s at the federal level with the tax cuts included at the end of the month.”
