As a Canberra resident, I would love to see Qantas launch direct international flights from Canberra with these A220s. New Zealand would be a great starting spot, and I am planing to fly there soon and going via Sydney or Melbourne is sooo annoying. Qantas as Australia’s flag carrier should give us international flights from Australia’s capital

Qantas doesn't fly international from Adelaide so it's doubtful they will fly international from Canberra any time soon.

I noticed the plane was mostly empty. I flew home out f Sidney to LAX on Feb 13 and was shocked. There were three seats for every passenger!? Never been on a Qantas flight between the US and Australia with more than a handful of empty seats before. It was awesome for the passengers and the flight crew. As always, enjoyed your video.

Thanks Rory. the A220 looks great and is sure to be a big improvement over the B717s. I hope Qantas will deploy them on the Adelaide to Canberra and Adelaide to Brisbane routes which are currently serviced by Alliance on Embraer aircraft. Also have to say that the Adelaide skyline (shown at the start) has really been degraded by that horribly ugly new Flinders University building.

I think Qantas's usage of darker, more subtle tones like chocolate brown and beige have given a more professional and sophisticated look to the A220s compared to other designs. This is the first major revolutionary step Qantas has taken to return to becoming a world-class airlines since Alan Joyce's resignation. Its also great to see that you are back after a 3-month hiatus.

I love watching your videos. I got questions to ask. What type of camera do you use to film your videos? What software app do you use to edit your KZbin videos and is it free to use? Do you use your phone or laptop to do your video editing? Whilst you film your videos, do you use tripod or selfie stick - what brand is it? Good review Rory. How does the A220 compare with Embraer's E190? Alliance has a big fleet of these and some of them fly for Qantas.

The A220 is more modern and has Wi-Fi and charging points, which the E190 lacks. So, I would definitely pick the A220 over the E190.
