When the Philippines🇵🇭 sued China🇨🇳 to the Hague Tribunal in 2016, it described how Chinese fishermen destroyed coral reefs in the South China Sea. - They used propeller attached to their ships to pull up coral reefs in order to harvest giant clams, an endangered species.

China had harvested most of the giant clams in the South China Sea and also destroyed the corals in the area with their illegal land reclamation to build their artificial islands like the Mischief Reef, Subi Reef, Fiery Cross Reef, etc.!😒
