Only won Bathurst in 1971. Got beaten in 1972 by the six cylinder Holden Torana GTR XU1. After that loss no more Bathurst racing for it.

I love my fords, especially the phase 3, but fuck me, your laying it on thick. The seats were pretty ordinary ( ask Moffat), and on most race tracks, they struggle with tyres or brakes. Yes, they were much better than the phase 1 or 2 in performance
