I either didn't know or managed to forget that detail about Friedburger. Deutsche Bank is one of the shadiest of the big international financiers which somehow appears in most stories about money-laundering, sanction-busting, crypto-fraud, funding terrorists and warmongers etc etc. They are basically a criminal organisation and finding out that one of their executives was in control of our finances is nauseating in the extreme.
@Winter-n7lАй бұрын
The only bank I can think of that is sketchier and more unappologetically criminal than Deutsche Bank is the Vatican Bank. They have been proven to work with terrorist organizations, South American cartels, and all sorts of orginizes criminal groups like the Russian and Italian Mafia. The Vatican is its own country, and if you try to say something bad about their bank, oh no, watch out for those Catholics. That's especially if you have a young child, particularly boys...

Working in mental healthy realm, the only stories I've been told about beyond blue are atrocious. Eg. People being told that they should take a panadol, drink more water & have a nap after being on the phone for an hour, encouraged to tell and relive traumatic events. People under duress being spoken to with frustration & judgement because they find it hard to share openly within the allocated time frame for the staff member & organisation, then being offered no further services. Staff that are overwhelmed by the system that they work in & not having much else to give back. We need to better support our first responders .

Previous govt wasted millions of a royal commission which uncovered nothing spending more time getting details on Gillards reno 15 yrs back than it did interviewing the crook who was at the top of the Victorian CFMEU. Also inflation is cumulative which means we are still paying very high prices for groceries and it will remain high until there is an oversupply of produce and/or it becomes cheaper to make (input costs are rapidly increasing across all industries so neither are likely). Couple this with mass immigration, which is destroying the property market and young peoples lives, a couple of budget surplus isn't doing much for battler on the ground.
