Welcome to Kata Tjuta, located just 50km from Uluru in the heart of Australia's breathtaking Red Centre! Join us for a walk at the Valley of the Winds walk, a captivating journey through the rugged landscapes of Kata Tjuta.
🚶‍♂️ Lace up your hiking boots and get ready for an immersive experience that takes about three hours at a medium pace. We recommend starting early to witness the stunning sunrise casting its golden glow over the ancient rocks, creating a cinematic atmosphere reminiscent of a wild west movie, or just before sunset as we did.
🏜️ Unlike its famous neighbor Uluru, Kata Tjuta offers a more diverse and challenging hiking experience. The Valley of the Winds walk takes you through narrow canyons, domes, and rocky terrain, providing a unique and exhilarating adventure for nature enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike.
🌿 Immerse yourself in the sacred beauty of Kata Tjuta in the Australian Outback, a place considered sacred by the Aboriginal people. Discover the spiritual significance of this landscape as we ascend to the towering heights of Mount Olga, which stands almost 200m higher than Uluru at its tallest point.
🔍 For those hungry for facts, learn about the rich cultural heritage of Kata Tjuta, intertwined with the stories and traditions of the Aboriginal people. Uncover the geological wonders that make this site truly one of a kind.
🎥 Join us on this virtual journey and let the breathtaking visuals and insightful commentary transport you to the heart of Australia's Red Centre. Whether you're planning your own adventure or simply seeking inspiration, this video is your gateway to the extraordinary world of Kata Tjuta.

The place I hold close to my heart. I get up there every 3 years or so to see my friends in community and reconnect with the endlessness of this land. Thank you for sharing your experience up there

I thought it was insensitive to take photos and video where you were? Typical arrogancy on your part.

Why? Didn't see them disrespect anything. Only arrogance i've seen was on your behalf coming here to disrespect them and thinking your on the right to do so.

@rebornitsybitsy7515 Hey, could you please enlighten us on when and how we were disrespectful? We were told by the Anung people (and also followed a guide that was given to us) that there’s a part of the walk that we can film anything and for the rest of the walk as long as we focus the camera on us would be fine which is what we did but if we did it wrong let us know. Also there’s more educated ways to talk to people - be kind
