Seeing stuff like this makes me want to hit the open road.. Inspires me even. I wish I could just turn myself into a bird and travel for free. Don't wanna put the mileage on the car, don't wanna pay all that petrol money. So scrooge. My yearly budget is blown on fence palings.

Well I did see a lot of people travelling around on bicycles with tents. I mean, I am not sure I would myself want to travel Australia on a pushbike because those distances are huge but its an option in other parts of the world. I was really surprised how many people I saw and actually its a good way to see an area and keep fit. I saw one cyclist on the Nullabor in a storm, I did feel for them! x

@@RetireandTraveltheWorld they may have electric bikes these days. But they would also need really good camping gear and know how.

That would make it easier and yes would need to know how to camp well and have good equipment that is easy to carry.
