Australia's Smallest Camp Spot / Free Camping Victoria / Jimny Camping / Camp Cooking Australia

In this episode, we take our Jimny and tent in search of a campsite, and find possibly Australia's smallest camping spot! We visited a few spots north of Melbourne, and settled at a spot near Murchison.
We pitch our tent, get our coals on to cook up a tasty dinner and take in the awesome river views below.
We enjoy part-time van life (and also camping with our Jimny), creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) on Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla. In our episodes we stay at free and paid campsites, showing our tips and tricks for making life on the road easier and more fun. Come join us on our adventures! Dani and puppy won’t eat off a plate at all, they get their food on a small chopping board, it’s that or by hand or off the floor, that’s a great way to assure your floor is always clean. Pretty spot. I don’t care if it’s advertising but those vacuum sealed Aldi meats are really nice. Meal looks great. So hope the van is back soon, I hate camping it’s too dirty (dusty) for me. Henri is the cook thankfully, that’s how we made it to our 70’s and I clean up, we work the same way. We had something strange in the sky out here last Saturday, it was three light in a triangle bottom two flashing green and red but it was staying still. When I looked about 20 minutes later it was gone OR clouds were covering it. Yeah coffee, good idea. Another great episode guys. Thanks for taking us along. Take care and see you next week. 🥰

They sound like spoiled puppies just like Twyla ! The lamb was absolutely amazing. I have had it before but in our oven and it tasted great then also. That’s so interesting about the things in the sky so much of that stuff going on at the moment. I’ve been keeping my eye out but haven’t seen anything as yet. Did you catch it on film by any chance? @. I tried videoing it Deano but I only have my phone. I reckon if I had my brothers Samsung I could have got it but iPhones as built up as they are really aren’t worth the money. When I told Kym, my daughter, said there’s been lots of reported sightings of UFO’s recently and though I’m not a non believer I’ll look at every other possibility before I go “OMG a UFO”, I’m the same with ghosts, I’ve got more faith in Twyla’s experience at Gundagai jail than I do in what people say.

Thank you for the video , your lamb looked delicious , well done , l had to laugh though when you woke up , you looked so second hand , those pesky birds will do that every time ,we stayed at crystal brook SA and the guy at the caravan park use to come out with with his shotgun to scare them off when they came home to roost , luckily he gave you the heads up before he did it.Hope your on get some good news on the van soon .

We live in Murchison on the main road . One of free camping area by the Goulburn River literally 25 seconds walk from our front door. You are right about those birds they are noisy 😅. Good on you both for soldiering on! Great to see the tent in action. Would love to see you guys have a go at catching your dinner next riverside spot you camp up at! It's great fun fishing, don't bother with a lure just go the good old sinker and hook with a worm setup. You can get a rod holder and bells that clip on to the tip of the rod and all you have to do is take a seat, pour a glass of wine and hopefully the bells ring (fish on!) Anyway great episode guys i hope the van is back on the road soon.

Yes, it was definitely good for a change going out and camping in the tent. Definitely would love to do some fishing in our episode in the future. lol poor Adam,buy him a small air compressor and a usb vacuum (ebay,they're tiny and great ) . really hope your van is a quick fix ,as i have said before ,ours was months and worked out at a grand a week ..but in the big picture ,its done now and we still come in thousands under what a new van and kit would cost..it is worth fixing ..they may be old but they were made properly . good luck guys.

After the bad luck we had with our van the week before we weren’t ready to sacrifice the Jimny. If we had it destroyed the Jimny he would end up being kingdeanos walking adventures lol 😂 thanks for watching down the track we might get some upgrades to the Jimny so it’s better protected underneath before we go to crazy.
