The things Cate Campbell said did not go unnoticed here in the US. I thought it went beyond good natured banter and just showed her hatred of the US. I agree she is entitled to her opinion, and she shouldn't be upset if Americans like myself find her comments uncalled for.

Ms. McKeown’s statement is brave, and respectful. Speaks like the champion she is. She nails it when saying there’s a right and wrong way to say thing. Her empathy towards the US teammates is a bridge to better discourse. Well done to this champ…
