McKeown, Titmus and McKeon dominated for the women during these trials. Broke 6 records between them. The AUS vs USA showdown in Tokyo is going to be unreal.

Lol, only for girls. Our boys will smash AUS. So overall, we will dominate the field.

@@Oscar-Green I'm American, and I agree! LOL. I'm glad you have a sense of humor about it. I want our swimmers to be confident, but anyone who goes into a competition thinking they're going to "dominate" will probably find a rude surprise! Of course, I love when Americans medal, but I am as happy when any athlete wins (as long as they aren't a suspected drug cheat). I agree that I think the Australian girls are setting some really incredible times, and I can't wait to see the competition!

@@latebloomerabroad Haha that's the thing, yes it's true that the Americans will probably win a lot of Gold medals, they are the top swimmers in the world but the whole point of my comment was saying that it's going to be strong competition and exciting to watch especially since this is one of the strongest teams Australia has ever sent and for the first time in a while can give some strong competition to the US after below average results in 2016 and 2012. The relays are going to be the most exciting.

Great results! Kaylee McKeown posted a wonderful time. I liked see Emily Seebohm again in olympics. I am happy for Australia swimming team. It seems Australia is creating a strong women's team. So great swimmers since Fanny Durack, Claire Dennis, Lorraine Crapp, Dawn Fraser, Beverly Whitfield, Shane Gould, Gail Neal, Michelle Ford, Susie O'Neill, Jessica Schipper, Leisel Jones, Lisbeth Trickett-Lenton, Stephanie Rice, Petria Thomas and Jodie Henri. I hope see Ariarne Titmus and Kaylee McKeown is this group of olympic champions. USA have dominated womens events in the last two olympics, 8 golds in 2012 and 8 golds again in 2016 olympics. Australia won only one gold in 2012 and one gold in 2016. I believe this situation could be changed despite USA have great swimmers like Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel, Regan Smith and Lilly King besides the newcomers swimmers.

I don't think that's true. This is her last swim of these championships. Don't tell me she didn't wasn't to break the WR and put some pressure on Regan. Regan was just back home insanely fast.

The commentary from Jon Harker is cringeworthy. Saying things like "She's doing it for Dad" is tacky and cheap sentiment.
