In 1999 TripleM radio had a competition to win $20,000 by riding the Bush Beast at Australia's Wonderland. The premise was simple, last person standing won. After 5 weeks, two remaining passengers on board a $20,000 roller-coaster endurance test agreed to split the prize money and call it quits.
Steve Fletcher and Rosa Vacarro ended their 40-day ride by calling a stalemate to the competition and collecting $10,000 each.
The two spent more than five weeks on the Bush Beast roller-coaster at the Wonderland amusement park, near Sydney, as part of Triple M radio station's Whirl Til You Hurl competition.
