Gurkha's from Nepal were one of the first regiment to fight at darnedel (galepoli) and one of the last to leave. The supreme commander sir Ian Hamilton (the supreme general of the campaign against the ottoman empire took the regiment of gurkha instead of two calvary regiment). Gurkha did so well in battle that the general named a beach as a gurkha beach and the high strategic fortification they took as gurkha bluff. His secretary letter to 6th gurkha rifles was that if we had more gurkha , we wouldn't be stoped by Turks in darnedel. Nepal is a small nation that was once attacked by British. But it is also the only nation to this day where Britian has made monument. The attack on Nepal was the most costliest campaign in entire campaign of south Asia. So instead of fighting them in a battlefield, Britian decided to all with them.nepal has assisted Britian so much in world. that some 36 major battle in 200 years. Nepal has never been conquered by any foreign nation. It is the oldest south Asian country and it men have been recruited by Singapore, Malaysia (boreno) , India, Britian, actively serving in protecting world embassy in middle east such as USA and Canada. When Kim Jun UN and Donald trump met at Singapore (gurkha where the main unit assigned as the protection unit). You may wonder why gurkha. In Britain top 100 shooter in the entire British army including sas 75 of the position were taken by gurkha regiment. French foreign legion which has the most largest casualty rate actively seek retired gurkha soilders. In WW2 Hitler wanted Nepal to join his side. And actively gave many gifts. Yet Nepal stayed loyal to British. 200000 gurkha entered WW1. 30000 died or were badly wounded. A nation that was not part of commonwealth nation. And hence gurkha statue at London states about the most loyal and faithful friend.

Right we will see who runs like a coward when they come across the battle hardened pathans in taliban or the valiant and ferocious ethnic russians. The west has made a huge mistake and incase of war they will pay for it dearly.
@mojowwwav43572 жыл бұрын
@@futureparasfcommando971 The militaries of the west laugh at Russian "army", they have resorted to nuclear threats to prop themselves up on the world stage after being humiliated by ad hoc Ukrainian militias. And what about the Taliban? the taliban that got shat on in every direct military engagement? Their strength came from hiding amongst the populace, if the west wasn't so concerned about human rights they would have been butchered.

@@futureparasfcommando971 Correct. As they say, one cannot tell an idiot anything, they have to find out for themselves.
@SwaggMessiah692 жыл бұрын
@@futureparasfcommando971 No they won't. Women are mostly assigned in non combative or officer roles, and they have shown effectiveness in artillery roles, and armoured corps both on field and in research, and Israel already deploy them on their border. Women have their place in the military as Ukraine has shown. "Ferocious ethnic Russians" are a joke. Modern warfare is fought with ridiculous firepower superiority. The most masculine, highly trained, strong, and ferocious ethnic Russians are now in pieces 6 feet under with their ass cheeks and parts of their spine on the side of the road being chewed on by dogs and crows by some pissed off Ukrainian undertrained school teacher with a javelin.
