Hey Blake! Thanks for doing this! It was great to see how the commercial products did. I've always just made my own. Have you ever tried making your own?

To be honest that is something I have never done. I should have a go at that one day but Id probably get in even more trouble blending up scallops etc in the nutri bullet 😅

Just ordered the Insectivore, Xylivore and Spirulina mix on your recommendation for my community tank fish. Just mixed them and put them in the fridge so we'll see how they go when I do tomorrows feeding.

@@BlakesAquaticsGot a 36L tank with a Honey Gourami, Otos, Pygmy Cory and Harlequin Rasboras. Also have a 140l tank with a Dwarf Neon Gourami, Dwarf Chain Loach, BN Pleco and a school of Golden Zebra Danio. I have an Apisto Hongsloi that I'll be adding to that in the next few days. That's why I needed to buy 3 different version. Big variety of species.

Thank you for this video. I never tried gel food. Will definitely give it a go! Btw, I usually feed flakes just enough for the fish to finish within 3 minutes. How long are the fish supposed to finish gel food in one feed, so as not to foul the water quality?
@BlakesAquatics2 жыл бұрын
I sometimes leave it overnight, but most of it should be eaten within a few minutes

What's their online shop site? Does it mess up the tank? Thanks mate.

Hey mate, www.fuzzyfox.com.au/collections/gel-mix-products All fine/ gel foods will make a little mess but its not more or less than any of the others

Ive fed 6 month old frozen repashy before, still disappears 🤣
@DIYMick2 жыл бұрын
Do you have the issue with Repashy wear it starts to grow mould? I might just need to make less so i use it up sooner, but anything over say 2 weeks, and it will start growing mould on top

I always freeze mine. I bought some silicone ice cybe trays that have really small squares that I like to use for nice portions

Blake , I have a request . please go outside in your area and just video the trees and land or buildings and city streets whatever. I live near Nacogdoches Texas , a small town in eastern texas near the Louisiana border. I will never travel to Australia and I would like to see some sights you find beautiful or important . thanks for your content Brother !

I’ll give the insectivor one a go I’ve tried repashy soilent green and it wasn’t a huge hit but it’s cheap enough to give this a crack. I’ll just have to wait until the Mrs isn’t looking she’s not a huge fan of my rapashy exploits.

Hi, after watching this video I decided to give FF a go. Sadly my fish will not touch it. Mixed up and popped a small amount n a rock and they dove down to check it out, had a nibble, spat it out and have never touched it again. I have a full contanier I can not use. I'll stick to flakes or pellets.
