A good documentary. I've birded in most of the locations you show, and it was good to see them again in your film. Some excellent views of the birds have been captured here. I particularly liked the way you inserted sections from your earlier trip when the conditions were much different - a great illustration of how changeable and responsive the country is.

How suitable is the Birdsville Track for towing a hybrid Ecotourer caravan with a,4WD. The Hybrid Ecotourer is a semi off road caravan. I am really enjoying your videos, my wife and I are keen to explore further into central Australia, but are not the real Gung ho off road 4WD nuts.

It all depends on the weather. If it's dry and you take it carefully you should be okay.

great video And the music wasn't too loud (Thanks) What camera were you using for the videos?
@alanadare7052 Жыл бұрын
Thanks George for your comments. I am pleased you thought the music was not too loud as it is not easy to get the balance right. With regards the cameras we used. In the most recent trip I used a SonyRX10 mk4 and Alana used Sony AX53 moviecam and for the older part I used Sony HDV FX7 and Alana Sony FDR AX60.

Thanks for your reply I was impressed with the optical quality of the zoom shots (digital zooms usually pixelate badly). Keep up the good work.

@@alanadare7052 Hi to both of you. I love birds but I'm not into it at your level. I'm friends with Adrienne and Peter Day and that's where I saw you mentioned. Greg...I have very strong memories of you both as a decent kid AND a brilliant footballer. I can still hear Chooka May saying how he liked the "left footer" when I think you were a rightie. I also remember your stunning sister Mandy who I loved from afar. great to see you both out there following your passions. :)
