For the first time this year, we have a Golden Whistler in our garden and he was nest building recently so I am hoping we see more of him and his "wife" and hopefully a family Both Mr and Mrs Golden Whistler frequent our birdbath which I can see from our lounge window. I am very excited as we have lived here for 40 years and I had never seen one before!

Wow, that is so cool. They have a lovely range of calls and they have the plumage to die for!

@@TimSiggs - I was so excited having never seen one before. I’m hoping they have a successful breeding season 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼. We also have a satin bowerbird and my husband located his bower which was a double one! Twin “tunnels” and lots of blue goodies.

The noisy pitta Is the only bird I don't recall hearing where I live. My home backs onto the escarpment along Mt Kembla. Wollongong NSW . There are many more birds I could add and ones I haven't yet identified. I love my morning bird calls so much I can't imagine never hearing them again.

@@TimSiggs I have medical conditions that keep me at home more often then not. Meditation while hearing all the birds singing gives that time so much more.

There is a call from a different bird at 2:42 in the background, im trying to identify a bird call that i used to hear frequently in rural NSW and i think it may have been similar.
