Excellent work, Tim... the bird footage was gorgeous. My daughter started studying at Melbourne this year and we plan several trips around Australia over the coming summers.... including Tasmania, of course. FYI I found you through the link on Phil's Into the Wild Films channel. Keep up the good work.

I saw two here in Mia Mia Central Victoria yesterday - hence I am here looking. Really cool birds hunting insects. I wondered why they were shuffling their feathers but it is a thing of theirs I read now. I have very rare blue wren type birds here that are smaller than a matchbox and I was concerned that these black faced visitors might be chasing them which wasn't the case.

Wow, just wow!!! Awesome video! I have a pair, male and female, that kept trying to come through my kitchen window glass last year, and now they are back again doing the same thing! I'm pretty sure they are the same pair as last year. Absolutely stunning, gorgeous little cuties. I had never known they existed before last year, the bird identifying websites helped me pin down their species. I am so in love with them!!! I can't get over your video, they usually never stop moving, flitting around so quickly from one spot to the next, I can't even get a decent photograph 😅
