Are you guys vegetarians? That "buffet" is indeed vegetarian, and not a buffet as in all you can eat, but they charge for how many dishes you pick I believe. Also have you tried taro in the shaved ice? Either fresh taro or taro balls. They are really nice. Enjoy Taiwan!

We’re not Vegetarian! The other one was closed :( we haven’t tried taro shaved ice but we love taro and shaved ice separately so we’ll need to try it! Thanks for the recs :)

@@Houseofboring there are also some hot pot/steamboat stores that's buffet, although it should be quite hot there now but it'll be airconed. See if you find those ice cream burrito/wrap that they shave candied peanuts, add ice cream, and coriander if you like it. Those are a treat also. Enjoy the last 2 days there, Taiwan's a foodie heaven and you should go back again sometime.

⁠@@a12a12yessss we loved those burrito wraps with the peanut and ice cream. We had one in Jiufen. And we love hot pot but only had it once here but it was the best hot pot we have ever had. The food here is incredible. We will be back again 🫶
