I'm 61 this was a big hit when I was 20 maybe 18. North San Diego coastal resident for 50 years. Got a new act called Papa Lolo going to throw this song in it rearrange the words a little bit to kind of go with where I live now... Great memories McCoy's surfboards Shane Horan. It was a more innocent time, with a lot more trust and appreciation of the good things. I remember it so well. I still remember walking into the corner shop to get paddle pops, and smelling that wonderful smell of lollies and milk. Man I miss being little in the 80s.

I came here to comment on Reyne's voice...it was quality, technically great at this point in his young life. Look at the lyrics - hardly harmonic and melodic, in fact rather difficult, but you wouldn't tell. Btw, the video clip is so friggin Australian, so Northern coast - those babes in the bikins, damn, to be young again. "Where the flatland's become flatlands".....awesome
