I love this video idea of letting us know about good cruise deals here in Australia 👍

I've booked a 3 nighter to Eden on the Edge next April & a 12 nighter to Fiji on the Carnival Adventure. This year I was on the gorgeous Crown Princess to FNQ and on the Carnival Splendor. Cruises have become a lot more expensive and I'm sad there aren't many from Melbourne anymore. I used to be able to afford a mini suite now I'm mostly in an inside cabin. Thanks for all your info! Can't wait to hear how Carnival will handle the take over of the 2 P&O ships and hopefully the food & entertainment will be better!

Some great deals ❤❤ sadly we can't book another cruise for those dates with having our 90s cruise in a couple months. But wish we could hehe

I think i'll hold out for boxing day, and see whats on offer then. My ball park for a good deal is usually $100 pp per day, without any extras. If you do your research, it's entirely possible to find those good deals. My mum, two of my kidults, and I booked a 33 day Princess cruise for September 2026. We booked the plus fare for two of us, and took advantage of their recent 3rd and 4th free sale, which bought it down to $132 pp p/day. If we just booked the standard fare it would have been about $97 pp p/day. We're also sailing to NZ on 13th Jan with Princess, South Pac in August with P&O, and circumnavigating Australia in September/October next year with Princess. All of those cruises are at a similar price point to our 2026 cruise. The biggest challenge I have is negotiating my leave 🫤 🤷♀️

I booked the Adventure for the South Australia one for February 7th as that is a super cruise and I was down there on Brilliance last year and I loved that one and have some others booked on Adventure and 1 on Ovation who is a beauty to sail on

Sadly we are all booked out for this year, and almost for 2026 booked very early. Yes it’s all about supply and demand. I will keep an eye out for last minute, drop n go though, as we just love cruising, Don’t mind doubling up on places we have already been to, to us it’s more about the journey, people you meet along the way. When you factor in, accom, food, entertainment & convenience = Value +

Couldn’t agree more! Sometimes it’s just about the cruising, and the journey ☺️

My favourite night on a cruise ship is drink like a pirate night. Everyone dresses up as a pirate and you go round drinking heaps of rum. What an event.

Why can't any cruises go straight to Vanuatu and concentrate on doing more shores there? Or go to Darwin along FNQ?
@aussiewoman573 сағат бұрын
No special prices for solo cruisers,and now that p&o are going to be taken over by carnival,and WONT pay out military OBC iwont be sailing on any of them

Yeah, that’s why I mentioned that specifically. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when searching for a good value cruise.

No way to make a booking using your site Adrian, as there is no filter to only show disabled accessible rooms and prices.
@TheCruiseandTravelGuyКүн бұрын
That’s what Cynthia is for ☺️ complete the form on the home page and she’ll be able to help you one on one.

That does not cut it Adrian. It is actively discriminatory against disabled travellers, as it demands disabled travellers have to jump through extra hoops, on your site, just to find out the same type of basic pricing information for disabled accessible cabins, when able bodied travellers do not need to submit a form to find out basic pricing info for non-disabled accessible cabins.

@@t4N9410oR I'm incredibly disappointed that you feel that way. I'm also saddened that you've suggested my website is "actively discriminatory". That is simply not the case. Had you asked for clarification, before writing this comment, I would have informed you that it is standard practice for cruise lines not to offer accessible cabins via online platforms. Most usually, these need to be booked via a call centre when booking direct, or via a travel agent. There are reasons for this, including ensuring that passengers booking an accessible cabin have a genuine need for one and don't otherwise take an accessible cabin away from someone with genuine requirements. I think you would agree this is an important safety net to ensure the system isn't abused when accessible cabins are already so limited in number. I appreciate that there are challenges that disabled travellers face. By the same token, I'm really, really disappointed that you've decided to label my website (and by virtue, my business and me) as discriminatory.
