I used to keep that old girl in th sky i the 70's & early 80s. Luxurious interior for its day. Grand old lady of the skies. Proud to be part of the RAAF keeping it serviceable & on call for transporting the defence force around Australia .

This nice old chap, owns the greatest scrap pile I've ever seen. Overwhelmed with history, most every item he saved should be restored and put on public display.

Superb job of preserving that gear for future generations. He's leaving a fine legacy and without those like him the future would have far less to learn from. The tactile experience of machinery cannot be conveyed by video. I urge those who can to volunteer (it's huge fun) their skills to help preservation efforts.

Absolutely bloody fantastic!👏🏼👍🏼 What an incredible collection! My late father was a WW2 veteran & was in New Guinea for most of the war. He told me of doing food/supply drops over Kokoda to our boys in a DC3! Kicking out the boxes whilst his mate would hold him by his belt! Pretty hairy as he said!

I once lived in a Brill Trolley Car, and it appears that you have one sitting there. I was in the process of removing 65 years of 23 coats of paint of 6 or 7 different types, restoring it after it had been used as a bungalow for 65 years when I had to move. The landlord gave me twice my damage deposit back and gifted it to the local museum for restoration. The woodwork in them is lovely and I hope it is treated well.
