Dingo dogs, native to Australia, present a complex challenge to the country's agricultural sector. As apex predators, dingoes play a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance by controlling populations of various species, including invasive ones. However, their presence becomes problematic for farmers and livestock producers. Dingoes are known to prey on sheep, cattle, and other domestic animals, leading to significant economic losses.

And an increase in productivity due to less competition for feed by native and feral herbivores. Also having a structured dingo pack with Alpha breeding pairs eliminates stock predation due to younger Dingoes being taught to hunt their prefered prey which is not livestock. Vast improvement in native vegetation also eliminates erosion and soil drift creating barren ground as well as cover for smaller native animals which contrary to false belief are not part of the diet for Dingoes.

There are many other invasive animals' farmers have to deal with. As usual government of Australia is implementing half-baked solutions for decades. Sometimes one must ask. Is there really desire to eliminate the problem. Wild boars and hybrid pigs are taking over north America and Canada, Even Europe I guess when there will be absolute hunger in western world we might see rapid solution. We always hear the humans exiting this animal and that animal going baclk300k years. Just now we seem to be helpless.

@@TonyDear-gh6rg Unless they have lost their natural fear of humans by idiots feeding and trying to interact with Dingoes attacks are extremely rare. Wild Dingoes are curious and will often watch from a distance which to the unfamiliar appears threatening. But a wild dingo will steer clear of humans and have a natural flight over fight. You will never heard of anyone being randomly attacked by a dingo that has not had human contact. Never. Unless of course you foolishly approach a den with pups, but both parents will give ample defence warnings and will only attack if you ignore and attempt to take a pup.
