Thanks for the nice comment mate. I don’t know why I get them but I’m sure everyone that posts something on the internet would get it in some way. There’s a lot of pricks and miserable people in the world that don’t want people to succeed. But, there’s plenty more to come for nice people like yourself so stay tuned

Steve, Jim from Connecticut. I want to wish you and your future wife a healthy and life full of true companionship. I hope the sun will shine on your faces and hearts. Regarding these derogatory comments, the hell with them. I see you are a hard working man who opened your life to the public. I admire what you do. I'm almost 70 and love to learn about things I never worked on. What is the 13 year old channel that works on mowers. I want to give him some support. I admire any young lad who is doing something productive. As always you have my support. October is a great month, as I was born on October 11th. Thanks for finally introducing your dad on the channel. My parents are both gone now. I'm glad you spend time with your dad, I'd give anything to spend a day with my parents again. I'll be talking with you soon. Jim Rioux

Hi Jim. Your nice comments are welcomed and much appreciated. You and similar people are the reason I do it. Those derogatory comments are hard to read, even though it doesn’t get to me, considering how hard it is to fit in doing these videos. Everyone is only seeing an hour of my life a week and they judge you on it. I work 65-68 hours a week so people should be grateful to get a video at all, and I know most are but there are some that criticise it. The young bloke is Aussie Garden Tractors and more. My parents built a house at my place so he’s always here with me doing stuff which is good because we all getting older and won’t be forever. Thanks again for your nice wishes mate and we will talk soon

Another awesome video, Steve! You know a heck of a lot about the history / applications of so many things. Very impressive!! Don't know why I didn't say it on the phone, but a huge congrat's on the upcoming wedding :-) I hope the whole thing goes flawlessly for you and your lovely 'wife to be'. And also, (another) huge "thank you" for the enormous shout out. I honestly thought you'd simple say my name and leave it at that! But boy oh boy.....I mean photo's and everything!!! You're a bloody legend, Steve! Thanks mate!! :-)

Hi mate thank you and it’s my pleasure. I do a bit of research first to tidy a few things up but I like explaining what I know. Thanks for the wishes, it’s been 20 years already so I’m sure it will all go just fine. I like to give a good shoutout to people who deserve one because I want us all to grow, I think it’s a good thing we’re doing here. My partner suggested adding the photo, I didn’t even think of that but it made it all the better. Hopefully you will get something out of it. Thanks Pete

Hi Stuart. It’s a shame you didn’t get it. There are still a few of those Detroit ones here. Plenty of them at shows. They still bring good money so it’s hard to part with that amount just to sit it here. It’s strange that it was exported but good to see. Thank you mate

The guy exported 3 tractors, 1 Chamberlain and 2 field Marshalls, but has split with his wife. He wanted £4995 for the Chamberlain, and it sounded great. Just needed a quick tidy up. I normally just mess about with stationary and have 36, lol. I just wanted a tractor a little different fed up of grey fergies, lol. Take care and good luck with your wedding.🎉🎉

Way back in about 1966 my father bough a second hand Chamberlain that look very much like that one, but without the cab. I guess they never changed their shape much. But a closer look shows several differences. I remember the fuel injection pump was an inline one and on the right hand side, and the shaft extended out the back to 3 little V belts that drove the hydraulic pump. The rear end is different. It had the belt pulley beside the P.T.O., and a lever that came up near the back of the seat. I remember those 2 drive shafts underneath. As a kid I liked to dive under there whenever dad shut the engine down. There was something in watching them spin down then rocking back n forth as everything stopped. That roller on the draw bar was something.
@stevesplacedownunder
@stevesplacedownunder Жыл бұрын
Hi mate. She must of been a different model. You got me thinking what it may have been now with injection pump on the other side. Possibly a 9G but still doesn’t explain it. I had moments like that when I was a kid too, little things that amazed me.
