I agree with you on the poor/lack of responses when pre-ordering new trains, we all understand COVID and factory delays may affect timelines but a simple response saying that your order has been received and will be filled in due course would help with buyers confidence.

G'day, great update as usual. The Trainorama 930 are due into Sydney 26th of this month, I was just emailed a confirmation of a recent order. Price rises to $325 once arrived. From a new model perspective, possible AL/ALF or bit of a niche but the NJ/1600 class.

Great Video! Its nice to see some of the Australian models popping up on youtube and your videos are really enjoyable to watch. I model Queensland myself, mostly the modern period with AURIZON but I have a few 90s era stuff as well. I have quite a few models I would like to see done one day. WATCO`s new WRA and WRB2170 class locomotives or the DGWY grain wagons they haul would be pretty cool or even AURIZON`s 2700 class rebuilt locos, the list go`s on haha. Anyways thankyou again for the great video!

I run them on standard gauge myself which a lot of people will hate because it`s not prototypical but it`s easier for me and I started with standard gauge and the layout is still based in Queensland just on standard gauge rather then narrow. It does look better with narrow gauge track from what I`ve seen but converting rollingstock now would be a pain, also I would be able to run things from other states like the interstate BM/MB freighters without much trouble, just won`t be running prototypical length rakes with the room I have haha, oh well. thanks for the comment and again your very welcome Will!

Hi Will. Just became a new subscriber for your channel. My layout is OO scale DC, mostly Vic Rail and British rail stock, but anything to do with OO/HO scale kits are music to my ears. Like all your youtube videos especially on rail and tram museums. Like the way you present the articles in your videos, please keep up the good work. Fascinated on how much information you provide. I really enjoy the videos and stills that you insert between your reports because we don't see many Australian trains here in Arizona. The model I'd most like to see produced is the Auscision C class, "due 2018". I ordered one a few years ago, and I'm not getting any younger!

@@avlisk I see! I mean we see quite a number or American modellers out here and on the exhibition scene and yeah I'm always curious if it's every reciprocated worldwide! Seem's like it is not the case! Well I'd certainly think so, and when you do let us know about it!

@@WillJamesRailways Occasionally, I'll see some OO Hornby or Dapol British trains. Same with European models in HO. But it's very rare. Even magazines that feature "foreign" trains, 1:1 scale or models, are rare. There's just so much North American product to choose from, and we just aren't exposed to anything else. And modelers tend to model what they see, anyway.

I mean there seems to be a lot, almost like there's more than other states represented, however I'm trying my hardest to find out more and more about other states representation in the scene! I guess I've always had a reasonable grasp on Vic stuff as it's what I've always been more interested in! An awesome suggestion, that would be a great model to be released, I can see Casula or maybe even Ixion perhaps making one or both in the future! I guess we'll wait and see! Plenty out there however most over priced. How quickly people forget that Lima made heaps of Victorian and indeed Australian models back in the day. So for those who model Australia l in the 60's through to even 1990's there is a bit of choice. Some say that many Lima productions were even better than the newer stuff today, and those people may have a valid point. That is an argument I will leave to others, but the Lima detail on most Australian rolling stock and locos runs rings around Hornby and others I would suggest. Personal opinion. And they keep their value as well. I bought a lot of Lima a couple of years ago when in England, and I have a close friend who can get quite a bit of what I want as well, so I am lucky in that regard and have the advantage in not having to pay exhorbitant prices here, and also costs much less for shipping.

A loco I'd like produced would be an SAR RX class. Regarding the Trainorama 930 class, it might be worth noting, although Trainorama diesels may only come in DC/DCC ready, they do in fact already have in-built speakers, so just fit a sound decoder in and voila!

Will,i would like to see Auscision, do another run of the V/Line N Class locomotive. Look at the price of them in EBAY and if they are releasing the Overland carriages, i would like to run twin N Class locomotives with them. Also,not a locomotive,but a rtr model of the Norman car. Cheers.

I agree with that John a release of the N class would be fantastic, I have seen them going for over $1000 which is well, a fair bit to steep in my honest opinion. Seems like now is the time for them to announce a new run. I put that down to the fact that there is not as much railway usage here in the southern part of WA that a lot of folks can see. It is there, just more country side based plus what's up North aint as if its just around the corner. PS: I model everything that runs or enters into WA, both in Standard and Narrow Gauge, as well as the Big 4 up North.
