Oh man, Nostalgia overload, S02 one of my most fav season brought to us by genuis Rohail Hayyat. Great contrast to S15 in every term, including mix quality but I love being back to unfiltered raw live music performances. Thanks for that Lyle. Ofcourse great song to start to iconic band Strings who took cap of producers from Rohail from S07-S10, we can also see Kaavish vocalist Jaffer Zaidi on Piano, our fav bass player and guitar players.

Sir, greetings from Pakistan. Well that I would call a perfect start to the coke studio season 2 and definitely going back to the roots. Brilliant song and fantastic reactions. Strings was one of the biggest bands emanating out of Pakistan. The duo broke up after 30 years together a few years back. Sir, if you would recall Coke studio season 14 song "Phir Milengay" which featured Faisal Kapadia who was one-half of this super duo "Strings". Sir, your presence with coke studio seasons is simply phenomenal. Sir, I am finalizing the English translation of Coke studio season 1. Sir, i have already translated all songs. Just trying to put those in the videos. Loved every minute of it. Best wishes for the channel. With warm regards

CS2 have lots of classic/iconic songs in it... all covers.. but we all go back to these songs in the end.. love this one!!

As creative as the current Coke Studio team might be, i think Xulfi has gone off the reservation with all the attention lavished on the videos rather than the music itself. Used to be that one would get to see and listen to the best "Music" Pakistan had to offer but now, i know that the songs from S15 and even the majority of S14 cant be seen more than a couple of times barring a few notable ones. Its sad really. Its turning into Bollywood rather then the shining example for music of the Sub-Continent that it was.
