Do you think natives and expats are fools to live or move in Australia? Being powerful and having nuclear weapons do not feed people. Is India weak economically or defense-wise? Is the middle east self-independent even if they have oil? Most nurses move to Australia for reasons being better pay, climate, work-life balance, flexibility, ease to settle down, and the ability to save a few bucks, the UK too offers a few of those things but the pay and ease to settle down is horrible. If the UK has to retain nurses they have to raise the salaries of healthcare professionals to balance expensive lifestyles, rents, or buying properties and inflation. Canada, Australia, and NZ take care of their healthcare professionals better and they are well respected that is not the case with the UK, what they are doing right now is what keraities does bringing bengali workers to get their job done. Current statistics in the UK say that they have a massive shortage of staff in band 4 or 5 levels because most of them made their way up to band 7 or above to escape the difficulties of being in those lower levels or some of them left the profession or left the country to somewhere they define better. After filling band 4 or 5 vacancies, a lot of them will be stuck in those levels for a long time because they are the main ground force workers and currently that's what is lacking in their healthcare system they are underpaid and will be capped to advance in their profession.
