Steve Kinser was a regular visitors yes, and very hard to beat. But there was a lot of good equipment in Oz before he ever came. There had been no end of proven US drivers come here and many left equipment behind though by late 70s the richer owners were bringing in new equipment plus there was local manufactures as well. And the Kinsers did not come until the 80s!

PiousMoltar - Ah, a fan of Solo Motorbike Speedway, are we? Well, you may be interested to know, that the very first Motorcycle Racing on a Dirt track, was in the New South Wales ( that's in Australia, MATE) town of Inverell, at the Towns Showground, and Harness Racing Track. So excited were the crowd by this new "specticle" that it soon took off in other small Townships, the length and bredth of the State, quickly reaching the larger Coastal Cities of Sydney and Melbourne and the like, and making it's way to Europe, via the U.K, post ww1.
