I’m British but live in New Zealand and my dad HATES Whittaker’s. He prefers Cadbury’s and things Whittaker’s tastes cheap but I think it’s the other way. Whittaker’s tastes more fancy to me lol. I usually have Cadbury’s though but that’s probably just because that’s what I’m used to buying.

There's Curly Wurly's, Clinkers and Tiny Teddys in New Zealand too. They're not Australia specific. The Whitakers vs Haighs was interesting, but you didn't need that many versions of them. Shame there were no Violet Crumbles from the Aus side or Buzz Bars from the NZ side.

If you're going to make a series of videos comparing snacks from one country, I think you should 1. Make sure the candy originsted in that specific country, and 2. See if it has been imported already to the other country. A good NZ v Aus showdown would be L&P the drink vs Bundaberg Ginger Beer, or the ultimate knock-down fight, Marmite vs Vegemite.

Well, technically the girl was right when she suggested water; L&P was originally made with Paeroa spring water, with Paeroa appearing in the name to reflect that. Though I expect now the water just comes from whatever council tap is closest to wherever the Coke factory is that makes the L&P.

L&P stands for Lemon and Paeroa which is a place that makes the soft drink. Originally the drink was made out of the Paeroa Spring water hence the name.

What a lazy description of L&P Paeroa yes is a town but the drink is based on the carbonated spring water that the town is famous for with Lemon. Perky nana & Pineapple Lumps are a kind of taffy chewy candy. Also we get Curly Whirlies we grew up on both.

Go the kiwis, but a lot of snacks are actually Aussie as well in our supermarkets. Could have compared who makes best Pavlova NZ vs Australia 😀👍 l & p the p stands for the town's name Paeroa. Most of the Australian snacks are in NZ supermarkets so not strange to me.
