Казахстан🇰🇿Сейчас 2024 год и многим не нравится крики теннисисток,например Арины Соболенко....но не Крики Марии...Народ толпой ходил на корт ради криков Шараповой,специально и торжественно ходили и хвалились перед знакомыми,друзьями, что они были на матче Марии..это Легенда ❤ жаль, что ушла на пенсию..а Квитовой 34 г. и до сих пор хорошо играет ,в 33 года в финале Майами 23 легко победила Елену Рыбакину в двух сетах 7/6,6/2

I think Kvitova has a better game - better serve, better at net and even more power than Sharapova. But Maria just had the champions mindset and refused to lose (except of course against Serena where she just didn’t believe she could win).

Oh yeah, Kvitova’s the much greater talent. I like both players, but Kvitova has the best combination of power, hands and shot-making that I think I’ve ever seen in women’s tennis. But Maria wanted it here even more, especially after Wimbledon but you can tell they both respect each other a lot. Although I disagree about what you said regarding Serena, that wasn’t mental it was physical.. it was just a really bad match up for Sharapova game-wise because there wasn’t anything Maria did better than Serena.

Sharapova was lucky to get out of this match. 3rd set she was struggling to hold every serve but it was all mental and Petra failed. However it was clear in the nightmare final that it should’ve been Petra v Azarenka with a Petra win.

Petra could have won 2 Grand Slams in 2012 but She lost 2 grand slam semi finals in a row to Sharapova. First at Australia Open and then at Roland Garros.
