Solar Sunshot program launch webinar: Round 1A and Round 1B

On Tuesday 10 September, the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) hosted an information webinar on the launch of the Solar Sunshot program.
The $1 billion national program aims to support innovation in Australia’s solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry.
ARENA has opened the first rounds of the Solar Sunshot program. Two funding rounds (Round 1A and Round 1B) are now open with a total of $550 million available.
Round 1A aims to support solar PV manufacturing innovation, including modules, input to modules and deployment systems. Round 1B will provide funding for solar PV manufacturing studies, including feasibility and engineering studies.

ARENA will deliver the Solar Sunshot program. Program guidelines were co-developed with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) after consultation with industry and stakeholders.
