Thank you, Zac for being so brave. And thank you Tim for educating us! Now I know what to do if myself or a loved one gets bitten by a rattlesnake or a copper head which are local where I live, probably not as deadly as the one's in Australia, but still very dangerous!
@christopherdale52434 жыл бұрын
Oh the US Rattlesnake are something you don't mess with remain claim and try to stay as still where the bite has happened and apply a pressure bandages and call for medical treatment quickly the better.
@cindys94912 жыл бұрын
@@christopherdale5243 they usually tell us in the US not to put pressure bandages on rattlesnake bites bc it will concentrate the cytotoxic/flesh-destroying venom. Australian snakes have such strongly neurotoxic venom that pressure bandages are required to stop the spread before getting to the hospital.

We’ve done medical evals. Where we have seen patients not be as bad when they’ve ran out of the woods on rattle snakes. We are thinking that maybe it’s diluting the venom and spreading it around The body out of limbs. But I wouldn’t try it on extreme neuro toxic venom or the top tier venoms. This was done on diamond backs and mostly rattle snake varieties. Which goes against what I was originally taught. But it’s like clock work. Everybody that has to travel on foot some distance to get help they don’t seem to have the severe symptoms like the stationary people. We are still looking at it and will in years to come.

Inland taipan
@davidcrowe29994 жыл бұрын
They’re both deadly snakes but the inland taipan is the most venomous. I’d give the deadliest title to the mamba because it lives in closer proximity to people thus more people get bit by mambas that along with their potent venom, aggressive nature and being probably the fastest snake on land to me makes them more deadly. The inland taipan inhabits areas not really inhabited by people.

Yeah getting bit by a s ven is not fun. Copped a tag from an eastern brown. It felt like one of my neohjnouts had shot me with a pellet gun, Looked up and about then down and saw mr hiss hiss. Bloody long lawn!. Called the ambos rright away and bandaged my leg up. Then (I know, stupid move) went out back and scruffed the snake, got him right behind the jaw. Please don't do this - it was a dumb move, you could get bitten again. I stuffed him into a pillow slip and tied a knot in the top. One eastern brown bagged and ready!. He got released a few days later. I needed 14 ampoules of antivenom!!

Where's the guy that about got bit in the face, that was on an American show with the New Age "Mr. Sting"?? And I'm from the US. People can tell me that the Top 100 Most Venomous Snakes on the Planet can ALL be from Australia. BUT... there's NO OTHER snake I'd least want to get bit by,than a Black Mamba. The BIGGEST thing about them is insuring you get Antivenin before around 20 mins...or you're dead as fu... I've know 100%, because a friend of mine was golfing on a Business trip, outside of Durbin, South Africa. He got hit TWICE around gis right shoulder blade..and thought he'd been scratched by a limb!! He'd gotten hit twice, and got antivenin in 15 mins, and gad already been gone 5 mins. He was literally DYING in front of their eyes in 7 friggin minutes. From what Im told about Mambas, is they hardly EVER dry bite. A venom guy in Florida, caught the corner of One fang...just enough to make him bleed, and he walked to the sink to kinda "Figure things out", if he'd been "Venomated", "invenomated", whatever, and he was feeling it in 30 seconds. That's ridiculous. It TRULY makes me wonder if the RATING system for how deadly venom is, is correct. For instance, there was a guy working at an area at Miami International Airport, that was apparently hit TWICE..by a Coastal Taipan...rhat 2as marked incorrectly in a container. SOMEHOW...Venom One had NO Coastal Taipan venom. It just happened to be on 9-11-2001, The Day we were attacked by those POS Terrorist, here in the States, and ALL planes were grounded. To shorten this, if I remember correctly, and im pretty sure I am...that guy got NO Antivenin for 12 hours...and survived. I've had others tell me, and Im positive as well, if he'd been hit with 2 Black Mamba bites .. he'd been dead. If they were breathing for him or not... his cardiovascular system would have been overdosed. I've had several people in the know, tell me that. Look into it, seriously. And please, don't take this as I don't appreciate, and UNDERSTAND just how DEALY those snakes are, and how serious your jobs are. Can you please tell me what the staring pay is formilking deadly Snakes?? I'm Not thinking about changing my Profession, I just REALLY hopeits ALOT. With that DANGER Pay Im REALLY hoping you guys SHOULD get.
