This is funny because my grandfather got sent to New Guinea during the war. Mind you he fought a typewriter, then he got dengue fever and god laid up for a while. John Wayne came through and chatted with him, and I figure that he must've been around then when they were filming Back to Bataan. This is one of their ops that you see and hear a TON of gunfire but you never see what they're actually shooting at. These videos are always just the shenanigans that happen during the ops. I can't recall actually seeing the mission objective be completed either it's just pops up at the end of the video that it's been accomplished and I'm left wondering "how? What did they even do?" But I still watch the next video anyways cuz they genuinely entertain anyways lol
