Vibe-checked myself in the hand with an airsoft gun less than 5 minutes ago by mistake. I absolutely do not remember loading it. Last I checked it had no airsoft BBs in the mag. Should have checked before attempting dryfire trick-aiming with it. Maybe the previous few shots had come out the barrel before I could fire (I kept racking it a few times for effect, plus it's a springer so I would have had to do that to ready it anyway), but I did pull the trigger and then rack it again. Not wanting to leave it with a full compressed air chamber before putting it away, I decided to shoot it when the muzzle was pressed against my hand. There was a fucking BB that loaded earlier when I racked it, and I felt the fury of a thousand suns (not quite, but it hurt). It's been more like 10 minutes now, but damn did that hurt. Springers have surprising power behind them for only being able to shoot like 25 metres.
