What a cracking harvest! I definitely need to try sweet potato again, and i really want to get some pumpkins this coming summer before the first frost of autumn. And ill hopefully get plenty of spuds too. I dont consider myself a prepper/survivalist per se, but i feel much better knowing that ive got a bit of earth on which i can grow some food, catch some fresh water, and keep a few animals. Just four acres but its enough for me. We should all have access tk a bit if land, certainly those that want it. Keep well. :)

Down here in Victoria the fruits are different, but I still enjoy harvest every Summer. Harvest is so unpredictable. I try to grow a little bit of everything, so if one crop doesn't work well, then another might.

As a Tasmanian I have the same issues and we also are limited by quarantine as to the types of seeds and plants we are allowed to grow. Best of luck for the coming growing season 😊

@@debe-ol6cg My property is on the coast in the SE of VIC. We had the same wild weather. I am only there on weekends and holidays (I work in Melbourne during the week), so I just got back from a weekend of chain-sawing fallen trees. My bananas and babacos survived winter, so maybe I was wrong when I said that we have different fruits down here!

Good video guys. That big fat juicy white grub that you put back in the garden is not a good idea. They will eat your roots. If you see them pull them out and give them to your chickens
