Credit well deserved! Love seeing people catch their fish of a lifetime. My mates always ask why I love fishing so much. They just dont understand the feeling or true achievement behind it. Some people get lucky and hook huge fish with little experience, but they too dont understand what it's truly about as those who have been fishing for many yrs. Landing such fish is a lifetime reward for all the long hours, hardships, money spent, patience and lost fish. I continue searching

Awesome! Just awesome!! The fact he got it on a saragosa and a t curve as well make it all the more cool. Proves a medium level combo can still go the distance on such an awesome fish. I love also how he’s written it off as a shark for 10 mins, then he starts to wonder that maybe, just maybe it’s not. We called my mates biggest ever red emperor for a shark, and it turned out to be a 10kg plus red. You just never know for sure until it breaks the water surface. 🤤

Google says the world record GT is around 73 kg. The fish in the vid looks more like 100 kg to me. The way he struggled to get it in the boat, the way it crushed his lap when he tried to hold it...gotta be a world record. Another thing: the record GT is pictured, and this one looks way bigger to me. And the 170 cm equals the record length. And the 170 cm fish in this vid looks thicker, fatter, and beefier.
