Don’t forget, it’s mostly for the cameras etc!!! Tv is larger than life, they would have ups and downs, just like any other human. YES, she’s a wonderful mum/ BUT no ones extremely UP and happy all of the time. It’s an unrealistic side that we see. That’s NOT how people are on a day to day basis. It’s not reality.

I know you probably hear this all the time but Steve was my absolute hero and reason to breathe when I was growing up. He taught me so much about what it means to be dedicated, proud, and determined for/to the environment and natures creatures. Hi Irwin family, My name is Susan. I grew up in a tiny town near Cradle Mountain, called Wilmot. I had lived in the North West of Tasmania for nearly 50 years. I am amazed that you had the most perfect day, weather wise at Cradle. Generally it is extremely hard to get such clear skies at Cradle, it also looks like you didn't have much wind. Usually there aren't many days of the year where you can get such beautiful weather at Cradle. I'm so pleased that the weather gods was looking after you all. I am currently in Queensland, I absolutely love the wilderness that Tasmania has, the only issue I have is that, it's too cold for me in winter and the freezing winter weather lasts way too long, unlike Queensland, where it is cool in winter for a short period of time and then it warms up. Tasmania in my opinion has more colder months per year than warmer months.

Awesome!! You guys are in my neck of the woods!! 😍👏👏💚🌈💚Such a spectacular place. My hubby & I walked to the saddle of Cradle Mountain 28 years ago on our honeymoon!! It was late November & we had all seasons in one even a blizzard!! Gotta love Tassie weather 😍💚 Although I am now in a wheelchair due to MS I have great memories of hiking around Tasmania!! I did part of the Overland Track when I was 12, it was AWESOME!!

This family just seems so nice and wholesome and normal--they haven't let fame ruin them. Can't help but love them! They remind me so much of my mom and brother and I after we lost our dad. He was kind of wild like Steve, and my mom was this practical, sweet lady who never remarried but took up his work. It would be so fun to meet the Irwins sometime!

Steve got me interested in animals when I was young. I'm glad his family is continuing on his life's work. I teach my kids about respecting nature and when I see a snake I do a Steve voice before taking a pic, definitely don't pick them up like him though lol "this is the most dangerous snake in the world, let's go pick him up!"
