I was just going to point this out. I thought he was going to mention it as one of the two critical maneuvers. It really should be 3 critical maneuvers and I would rank the tail movement above the the front limbs. The squirrel uses the tail as its primary method of the readjusting or stabilizing its orientation for landing. Its front limbs only serves to make minor adjustments or stabilization in preparation for the landing. If you look at both lauches, the is using its tail as a gyroscope the entire time but it only used the front limbs to aid in the orientation during the 1st launch since it didn't have to readjust for the 2nd landing.

Hilariously beautiful! Thank you for being kind to your new bros. Dad and I spend a few hours a day being entertained by our daily visiting squirrels. They have their little house feeder, without contraptions😉; lately they’ll eat walnuts and pecans and take the peanuts for storing😂.
