Aw...you are blessed to have Grace. I suffered from endometriosis and polycystic ovaries and I couldn't bear children. Now soon to be 75, we were lucky to adopt two babies, four yrs apart. They filled a void. Now 45 and 41, we have two grandsons from our daughter. Blessings to you all.

Thank you for the way you replied to the fertility question. As someone who has had to deal with being questioned about having children ever since getting married and dealing with 4 miscarriages and a long journey with autoimmune disease, this message needs to be shared more to those who don’t think about how these questions impact people. You can’t just assume that people can get pregnant without complications or that they haven’t already been pregnant but have lost their babies. It’s been such a tough journey and I hope people will start to think before they speak.

Well spoken Bindi. As a mother who suffered infertility issues throughout my adult life I struggled I successfully fell pregnant with my Angel baby who sad came 19 week early and made her journey back to her creator since then I married a single father of 2 who needed a mum to love them and recently he was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer so do to chemotherapy he too is no longer able to have anymore children so I can totally understand Bindi's answer at times you have to deal with the cards that you've been dealt and except what you can't force to suit everyone else. At times you have to be thankful and grateful for what you have and cherish it. Bless you Bindi and Chandler

A huge hug for you, I felt that deeply cause I feel I'm in the process to accept the cards I've been dealt with too and have been working with that, because even though I might have some hope, like I said in my main comment, I will not force something that is not God's will. You are blessed and God chose you to mother those children ❤. Blessings

As someone who spent her 30's dealing with Endometriosis I am so grateful for your words about being careful when asking people about their child status. After a decade of physical and emotional pain, I made the very difficult decision to have a hysterectomy and so am childless. I have many children who are in my life and who I love, but if asked if I have kids, I still get triggered 15 years later. Now my peers are posting pics of grand babies on FB and I feel sad. I love my life, but absolutely agree that you should just not even go there unless you really know the person well. Thanks Bindi for saying what you said. Cherish your miracle girl and the wonderful life you have and keep sharing your beautiful zoo with the world. Blessing from California!

I dont think people are asking from a nasty point of view, it usually comes from a nice place. I think its okay to ask people that, but its good to ask it in a gentle way. I have endometriosis and I always reply when people ask me -"Yes maybe, if God blesses us with more". I dont get upset when people ask me, because it comes from a kind and encouraging place. It would more be annoying as a celebrity to be asked every day like she said lol

@@jeanettejeanette1199we tried for our second baby for 4 years and during that time we got soooo many questions about if we were going to have more, when is the second one coming, she needs a sibling, etc. I was very aware that most of the questions were completely innocent and came from a place of genuine curiosity and interest, so I tried my best to answer with grace and understanding. It was easy at first. A simple “I hope so” or “yes, someday” sufficed. Sometimes even a jokey “we’re working on it!” But as time went on, we lost multiple pregnancies, faced scary health issues, endured invasive fertility testing and treatments, officially diagnosed with secondary infertility, and kept getting negative test after negative test month after month after month, it was hard not to get emotional when questioned. Although I tried to hide the pain I was in, I did break in front of people on occasion. And most of the time, the other person had no idea what to say or how to act. Their innocent, lighthearted question suddenly turned very heavy and I was always made to feel like *I* made things awkward. I hated feeling like it was my responsibility to protect the other person from any awkwardness that might arise if I told the truth or showed any of my real emotions. I felt I had to constantly push my pain away and feel awkward so nobody else had to. It was hard! My point is that I absolutely agree, most of the time these questions are not at all ill-intended. But, that doesn’t mean it’s always acceptable to question people on their family planning decisions. The way I look at it, sure ask the questions. But know what to say if the person you are asking becomes emotional and/or reveals very hard, personal things to you. Be ready to comfort, support, empathize, perhaps relate, and acknowledge and apologize for bringing up something they might not have wanted to talk about. If you’re going to feel awkward (or BE awkward) when someone reveals heavy stuff and maybe even breaks down right in front of you, best not to ask at all.

I developed Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (heart failure caused by pregnancy) and had my son the day after my 28th birthday in ICU, told I couldn't have more children without significant chances of my heart failing again and I am very open about it with those around me, it still does not stop people asking when I will have more. Bindi & Chandler , the more children question ( you made me tear up) but you handled this with so much kindness & far more maturity than I could. I myself suffered 4 miscarriages & had questions all the time “ when are you having babies”. Then when I had my first baby & he got to the age of 18months , everyone asked when are you having another baby - don’t wait too long - or - you can’t just have 1 . What they didn’t know was , I’d suffered 2 more miscarriage’s & then I had our daughter , who came along 5.5yrs after our eldest. I found the questions extremely difficult

Bindi, you couldn’t have said it more beautifully, on answering the question, if you two are going to be having anymore children. I too was only able to have one child, due to the fact that I had to get a partial hysterectomy when he was two. Just like your beautiful Grace, he too is smart, is funny, and he is absolutely perfect in every way. The joke in our family is, we didn’t need a lot of kids to have the perfect one, because we hit the jackpot with our son. Yes, soak up every moment while she is still little, for time goes way too fast. My son will be turning 9 in a couple of months, and it just blows me away. It has been fun watching your beautiful angel grow into a mini “Chandler” 😉, but basically, the whole Irwin family. You and your family are amazing people, and thank you for your kindness and love with us. Your dad I know is so proud of all of you♥️

I grew up Young watching on in the Final Years of your Dads Life and I remember his Passing and being shocked that it happened to him and going there a few times to Australia Zoo I was indeed suitably impressed. Suitably impressed with Yourselves as well and Bindi, You have that Passion about You that Reflects your Father, Never Forget That Legacy as he was a Fine Man. I know you won't and my Congratulations on getting through some pretty Tough times and Chandler must be a Good Shoulder to lean on for you and sometimes you need that and absolutely nothing wrong with it or backing away from the limelight for a time either to take care of that which is First and Foremost being Your Family. Regards John

I love the answer u gave. The reason so many people have asked us because you have a beautiful daughter and we would love to have.seen her have a brother or sister. Adoption is also a thought to consider. I hope that you will continue to have a happy and healthy family. And I admire you both so much at 60. I wish I was the adult that you are. You are kind, you are loving and you are amazing.Your whole family is. Thank you so much for all that you do

That question was our personal hell. We did get pregnant 8 times, carried 3 to 30-38 weeks and had stillbirths. So next time, when you really want to ask, think first. Then keep it to yourself. We did end up having two boys. One at 34 weeks and the second to 29 weeks. I remember someone I knew asking me this. It was a bad day and I said, “Well, it’s up to God, not us!”. God Bless😇

If Discovery wont bring the show back, you could consider filming episodes/long form vlogs to upload here! We love your shows and miss looking forward to new episodes.

Your response to the fertility/baby question was perfect! As someone who has struggled with fertility, I completely agree that no one else truly knows what you're going through. (I could go on an on about this, but perhaps it's best to just end it here.)
