Very cool little tour. I'm guessing the Pascal is a tug boat. She's a cute little thing. There's got to be a story behind the prayer wheels. Thank you for taking us along.

Silver Gopher Thanks for watching my friend. „The Friends of Tibet Austria“ have their home in Klosterneuburg. They built the place (I don’t know how to call it - place of worship??). The Pascal is a old tug boat built 1907. You are right.

What a nice city! I really enjoyed the walk into the narrow streets! What I like about Austria community buildings is that they are really nicely decorated. Here in DE the building are nice also but not close to that degree of beauty! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks my friend! It was lovely! 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹

oh mate can't wait to get to Austria, I like the cable ferry, when you walked to the embankment, I'd love to have a go at magnet fishing there. Everything is amazing really enjoy your out and about, walk around videos, The library was a quirky as well. along with the old ship yard. Seemed so chilled out. keep them up please.

Coin World UK Thank you so much Dale, I appreciate your support. Glad that you like my hometown. 😉 I remember how busy the shipyard was when I was a kid. My grandfather used to worked there his whole life before they shut it down. Thank you and have a great day my friend. 🇦🇹🤜🤛🇬🇧

JohnChum Adventures Thanks for watching my friend. Gmunden is in Upper Austria about 2 1/2 hours away from Korneuburg. I don’t know where Eberswang is. The community library and gardens are great. I like them very much. Stay safe and healthy mate.

You open up the "Book 2 Go" booth with a card ? Old shipyard 🤔? Ah yes... from the glorious times when Austria still had a port 😎 YES !!! Spin the Tibetan wheels 🎡 Wondering what the ferry man must have been thinking : I've just put this guy over, and now he wants to come back again ? Ah well... as long as he pays 😉
@AustrianStacker4 жыл бұрын
silver.international Hey buddy, Book 2 Go is free for all. A lot of people bring additional books. I once found one with my uncle‘s name in it. 😉 Most of the ships built in this shipyard were built for inland navigation on Russian waterways and for the Black Sea. I took this ferry last time about 30 years ago. The ferry man is a really cool and relaxed guy. 👍 Have a great evening buddy!

@@AustrianStacker Amazing, such an Book 2 Go isn't possible in my part of the Netherlands. Small world by finding a book with your uncles name in it 😃 Still would love to do a Donau river tour one day. Same to you man and your waif !

Thanks for this video, A.S. My bad for not taking notice of it in your catalogue of videos. And I've taken note that Korneuburg has the best pizzeria, and Greek restaurant. Two of three reasons to visit. Reason #3, to hopefully meet you, Korneuburg's most famous person 😁 No, no seriously.

I had to mention the restaurants because I spent years of my life there. 🤣 I hope you are well. Take care my friend.
