God, this song is gorgeous. I was fifteen when this came out. It was close to summer, the final months of 1990. It gave me goosebumps. 1990 was a great year. So many beautiful memories. Life was simpler. Times were better. People were more together. The world seemed more unified. And, we had anthems like this one to guide us through our landscape of life. Still so triumphant... The soundtrack to love and hope... Always and ever.

I heard this song in TANDY electronics (in about 1987) on one of the big sound systems and wondered what the song was...till about 2 weeks about...whenever i listen now i am taken back to the awesome old days where everything was purchased from a shop with Skinny sales guys in cheap suits and even cheaper ties. At the time it was normal, but looking back it was a bit quaint. Like a bed time story book (Sums up the 80s and 90s) yes it was cool. Remember, we basically only remember the good things!!..just as well.
