I LOVE this stand. Insane combos, a good stunning counter that has low cool down and works on projectiles, and the GODLIKE COMBOS. Especially against non-TS resist stands.

The main reason this stand is unique compared to some other stands/specs is because its based off a game known as Heritage For The Future (HFTF) which also explains why the audio is so much different from the rest and yes HFTF is a old game

LET'S HECKING GO. ShadowDio is honestly my favorite ability (maybe something like TWAU and SPTW are on par) in the game, especially due to the new model and pose, but also since it just feels really good to use. For example, landing bloodsuck is awesome, same with punishment, the TS is the fastest in the game, it's just great. Sadly, it sorta gets countered by crap like sakuya if the user just keeps flying and jumping around everywhere. Still, the ability is amazing, and my only problem with really using it was that I didn't know too many combos/strategies. Now I know better though, so big thanks for the video, Eclipse! I'll be sure to definitely continue maining this, especially since I now know all the good strats. Great video as always! And I agree, I hope they don't nerf it lol

I love how most of the animations and moves are references to HFTF. the things i would change are making bloodsuck unblockable as it is in the game, making knives start with pulling out the knives then throwing 2 sets, and adding a book that drops for his counter.

stw has been one of my favorite stands throughout the roblox jojo game genre. in abd, abdm (or whatever name it uses now, i haven't played it since the reset), and now aut. though i must admit abd's stw was my favorite of the three, aut's sits in the middle. i liked how they made it easily obtainable. that allowed me to get it within my first few minutes of play, after fidgeting around with it i did the thing any logical stw sweat would do, go into a ranked match and immediately get paired up with a sakuya (ironic). after a close (horribly far) match i thought i'd give pvp a break and try and get better with stw. this video was extremely helpful on my journey to sweat ranked.

Fun fact of the day - Shadow DIO was Kur's main stand during AUT Old Universe (it's unknown if it's still), hence why he had 2 skins (Kanna and Future) and was pretty broken, and still is one of the most interesting stands even after NU, and probably the ONLY stand that keeps it's Old Universe moveset, because it's basically a buffed version because it has no Bar to do moves. it's a stand that feels so fun and different because of those reasons, it had some special care beneath it.

The bloodsuck can serve as a potential combo extender, too. Right after the animation, run at them while pressing m1s and you are able to hit them while they are stunned and getting thrown. Although risky and unreliable, it'll get you another 50+ DMG with your other moves

You forgot the running tusk that always tries to get on their horse or use barrage first to catch you 18 studs away, or the standless who didn't know sans was banned, or the Dawn who does a fat 200 dmg combo off of 1 Q. And maybe, once in a blue moon, you'll get a really good SP, or literally any other stand / spec. Also the SPTW who presses T without thinking lol. Edit: forgot about the DTWHV users who go way too hard, I met a DTWHV and they did m1 after triple muda punch to extend their combo. Bonkers.

I honestly dislike how some stands/specs are so difficult to get, but then outright lose to ARROW STANDS. For example, Goku and Tusk(All Acts). Goku, was once the best in the game until it got nerfed several times (voiceline for Blink, made stun during UI/MUI, etc) now just a One Dimensional character that has little variety in it’s moves. Tusk, first 3 acts are nearly useless, and TA4 just is once again, ONE DIMENSIONAL when all it does is barrage M1 R you, or run away and use nails. Now lets take a look at ARROW stands, Star Platinum, easy character with a gun, star finger, heal, time stop, and ridiculous easy combos Killer Queen: SHA in general, escape plan, able to do setups with bomb plant and BTD. ShadowDio:(look at the video). So we spent all that time getting 7 dragon balls, and fishing for a saint left arm and an eye, with repeated dark determination’ing, just to lose to Arrow Stands? Although I am complaining, I will wait on the devs to figure out about this issue of work DOESN’T equal good reward(Unless it’s Nocturnus or Broly).

Tusk R is both a true combo into any of its moves excluding slam, and saying tusk act 4 is one dimensional, is incorrect, you can use the same combo m1+m1 R m1+m1 barrage m1+m1 R + anymore except slam, that is over 200 damage on the least, also the horse setup, which, in my opinion, is very stupid, you have 3x the speed of any stand, and still have a long-ranged barrage and while still blockable, nothing avoids them to use the instant block break R, barrage after as the horse barrage doesn't place regular barrage on cooldown and do the same 200 damage combo, forgetting the awakenings, ts resist, and heal, Tusk is literally the best PVP stand in general sight.

@@blank7871 hmm. I might need to rethink what I have said about Tusk. It’s just every single time I see one, they do the exact same thing which is Barrage, M1, R or NIGERUNDAYOOO! It’s just the perception people get when they look at a stand that is used around the same. Another example would be my main, (H)STWR, people look at that stand as pretty braindead who just knife throws, Barrages when close up, and TimeStops. But people are also using that stand wrong because they don’t utilize G right (used to back people off of you getting comboed), they don’t use TimeSkip at ALL (you can use timeskip to combo extend full m1 combo into a heavy punch by timeskipping onto the enemy once they fall and to chase running people) And lastly, (shadows energy can be used to combo extend or to break out of one by holding down the button) Sorry for insulting you if I did.

Shadow dio seems good and balanced when your just an average user of it since you dont know all the one shot true combos, move stacking, G into air e or r, time stop block break combos, any move you land into a combo, Counter any bombs sha d4c clones for a free combo, and so on. What’s so good about the move punishment is that it’s going to stun or block breaks and the only way to get out is to just dodge, but if they are stupid to see it they will fall for it and get stunned or block break. It’s a win win

I'm pretty sure Shadow Dio's teleport is better than TW's because whenever I use TW's it makes you stop moving for a second and then teleport, but that isn't the case with Shadow Dio so you can get some extra distance.

A little tip for STW, after using blood suck you can use high kick for a free extra 35 damage

in 'Countering Shadow Dio', the block problem can be nullified with movestacking, (use punishment during the start of knifethrow/space-ripper) as well as the timestop problem, (as soon as you see the enemy timestop, use your timestop, which activates quicker depending on how fast you see the animation or hear the audio cue, other than sakuya timestop.) and additionally, shadow dio has a ton more weaknesses, running (only certain stands can pull this off, as shadow dio is hard to out-dps even at long range), long lasting hitboxes (barrages, sheer heart attack... a moving hitbox btw, etc.), and combo starting projectiles (whitesnake gun, gojos blue amp... which only works half of the time... basically making the move garbage, etc.) due to none of shadow dios projectiles inflicting stun. shadow dio is one of those stands that loses HARD in some matchups. (fun game design aut team!)

normally i dont comment much, but a major thing about stw is that E, R and G have amazing block pressure and will break block if all of them hit and an alternative if you miss part of G for some reason is to just m1 that and if you can time it right, teleport with V in that time you can move before the timestop. the teleport keeps your character's position for your opponent, but you still managed to teleport so you take no damage

Dude there's an new first person survival game on roblox called decaying winter, dude it's just awesome, it's all based on survival and skill (also luck) and you gonna love it, like, dude you gotta play it, (you night even wanna post it on your 2nd channel idk) just a tip, don't try to fight much until you get to lvl 5, you are better just getting carried until then, because that's when you unlock perks, which are roles that gives you a lot of good abilities but also some cons, to see all the perks, go to the perk section and find an bar on your bottom left, then scroll it to see all the perks, oh and also, all in-game bombs do friendly fire, so be aware of that.

I have a combo: (parentheses meaning what to do when timestop is active) (> : pointing to the next keybind to use) Combo : 3 m1s > e > r > timestop> (t > g >h ) btw if timestop is on cooldown then just dont use t and continue with your g and h move.

I also have a combo T> 2 m1s > h The reason I use that is because it does a lot of damage and it stuns out of timestop making it easy to combo extend

I think you can use bloodsuck in ts, but it might only be mobile exclusive or something. Bc I’ve been able to use it like that. Another thing to mention is that on mobile, you don’t have to be crouching to use the crouching moves. Don’t know why, but you can..

random teleport trick with SDIO: if you use teleport while you are hugging a building, you can phase right through the entire building and end on the other side. You can also TP inside of a building. (this is useless in 1v1s, but hey, i guess you could use it in main game to juke people if that is ever needed.)

Shadow dio is just, So skill based. If you're bad, You lose. If you're good, Its fair. If you are god in a human's soul, You win. It's moveset is cool, It's a really combo based ability, somewhat op if you know what you're doin, And i've been trying to use it but... It's just so different to other abilities! It's like you need to learn how to play a whole other game to know how to use it effectively.. So.. I'll just stick with my twhv..

i dont understand why people think shadow dio is hard to use like a simple true combo is : t + 3 m1s + (crouched) e + 3 m1s + (uncrouched) r + 3 m1s + g + h + 3 m1s + y + t like bro this combo is way too easy to land i dont understand people that say this combo is hard, i always land this combo easily in ranked 1v1s tho roblox is still down so yes it's really easy to land anyways in either cases good video. (edit:i forgot to put timestop combos, well a good one is g + h + t + continue the normal combo since timestop will end by when you get to their face so you can continue the combo by then)

Hey, when i heard "Ability Review" first the came to mind is Fighting Styles in YBA. It would be 5 episode but if you combine it with AUT Specs. It would be one of the best series

since we're on the topic of stands/abilities gonna give some tips on KC 1. you can use chop sometimes if your opponent is a dumbass as it has a lingering hitbox 2. as you timestop if your opponent is holding block you can blockbreak with stand off E (mostly known by tons of kc mains) 3. arm chop isn't instant anymore but you can still try and use it if your opponent doesn't have cat like reflexes 4. you can use stand off knives after you use the e + e combo but it doesn't work at close range so mostly use it after you fling your target 5. b does nothing. don't use it in pvp 6. g has almost no startup. use this to your advantage. it's startup is only .5 seconds 7. when using time erase try and wait until the walking version of the enemy is near the end as they will usually try and read your next move and hope that their move will dodge it. i.e MiH's stand on t
