I just saw them in concert after only hearing a handful of their songs, and woah... it was a life-changing experience for me! For starters, their set was in pitch darkness. People were lighting up joints all around me (It's legal here) and I felt like a lot of their songs were full of really powerful, really slow-moving bass waves that felt like they were blasting me backwards in slow motion. My words fail to describe just how intense it was, and a little scary at times, but I'm in love

They already had everyhting back in 91, see Lego Feet or track Oval Moon (IBC Mx), they just had the chance to come accross 2 label managers on acid in 92/93...

I love the almost haunting reverb on the drums. It makes the song feel so mind-numbingly vast, like it echoes into infinity. The pad really helps build this ethereal, unearthly aesthetic that I have never heard another song achieve. Hands down the best song on the album. I can't tell you how many times I'll just be up at 4am just listening to this and to stare at my ceiling and think. Words can't even describe the melody in this song. From the beginning sounding like an evil open world to around 2:19 where it sounds like the sun is rising over the evil world and brings happiness to it. The rest of the song has an evil, helpless vibe to it while having a sound of hope added into it. Amazing.
