If my Prius V that has 200,000 miles gets stranded in the middle of nowhere and if it doesn't start ( maybe due to failure of water pump ) will this code reader direct me the failure of water pump or whatever the cause for not getting my Prius into start mode ? I am DIY guy and I replaced lot of stuff like water pump, thermostat , spark plugs, break pads, and in future maybe hybrid battery when it fails, and inverter coolant pump . I am looking for a scan tool that can direct me to the problem when my Prius surprises me. Thank you.
