Autel Evo Lite+ at Settlers Park First Flight in Quite a While

The Autel Evo Lite+ is a drone with a great camera. I had not flown the drone is a while, so was anxious to do some flying. While it was a windy day at Settlers Park, the drone handled it just fine.

The camera is where it's at with the Lite Plus Marcus! Beautiful footage. I personally think it comes close, -close, to the Mavic 3 on both video and photos. I'm not a fan of the obstacle avoidance and usually shut it off as it just doesn't compare to DJI's version. It just doesn't fly as smoothly with it enabled for me anyway. Thanks for taking us along on a beautiful flight.

The EVO Lite + is a great drone. I had it at Fischer Towers in Utah. I mistakenly flew it behind a 1000’ wall of rock and lost signal. I waited around 10 minutes, and the EVO returned without a scratch. I though it was miraculous!!

Marcus, this is Joe from Az. We just back from the Boise area and I am very impressed with your city. We came back to 112 degrees. Quite a change from your weather. I saw in this flight, that your temp. was 59 degrees. I am jealous. Do you get much snow in the winter. Another great video. At one time, I considered Autel but I have chosen to stay with DJI ( original Mavic 2 Phantom 4s, Inspire 2, DJI Mini 4 and the Avata 2). Of those drones I only have left a Phantom 4 which I am selling, the mini 4 and the Avata 2. Two drones are enough for me. I dont know how you keep up with all your drones. This is none of my business but you must have a very understanding wife. Keep up the great videos. I am a big fan.

Wow that camera is great. I just had the Evo Ll v3 delivered today. I have the Air 3 and mini 4 but with traveling in the mountains I wanted something better in winds. The Mavic I would have probably gone with but all the drama over DJI made me hesitate. Autel USA is about 10 minutes from my old home of 27 years. Looking to move to Idaho and will be in the state in August home shopping. Washington is just getting to regulated on everything. .

Hi Marcus, nice video flying the Autel Evo Lite+, thank you for sharing. I still enjoy flying my four year old Autel EVO ll drones. Of all the Autel's, IMO the Autel Nano+ has the best camera. However, the Nano+ would have had a hard time flying in that wind. The EVO ll's are like flying a brick in the sky, the wind is never an issue for them. All those city facilities are great, but I wouldn't want to pay the taxes. vbg

@@chrisrogers1754 Autel have a poor reputation when it comes to customer service. Great drones, but they regularly let themselves down on the service. DJI are pretty much exemplary on this front.

The Lite series have superb quality cameras up there with the very best, and has good flight time endurance, although the software and flight characteristics arent as good as the DJI drones.

Hi Marcus, my 2 go to drones are the DJI Mini 3 and the EVO Lite +. The only problem that I have with the EVO is that it is very sensitive to magnetic interference. I can put the Mini 3 right on my car roof and fly it from inside the car. This is not the case with the Lite +. Kind of an annoyance.

Today I also flew a drone I haven’t flown for quite a while. I flew my Mavic Mini. After an update it flew just fine BUT oh boy was it noisy compared to my Mini 3. So much so I felt guilty flying it.

This is my main go-to drone. EVO Lite Plus. I love the picture and video quality 😍 especially night footage! I know it's not DJI but it's a close 2A. I'm just happy I chose Autel and not DJI. You all are about to be new Autel fans if this law pass! And if they mess with Autel then I'll just go to Exo Drone company. What's stupid to me is! Damn near everything we use or buy etc has come China parts to it. So what they gone do. Make everyone turn in our whole house or car and etc lmao. Everything operates and or has China parts to it lmao 🤣 nevertheless finally you flew the Autel

I bought the Evo Lite + Premium Bundle for $839, father's day sale. I own 6 DJI drones Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 2S, AIR 3, & FPV Drone, all are Fly More Combos & I absolutely love them all.. I just ordered a Potensic Atom 3 axis gimbal, Fly More Combo a few days ago, I'm studying for my part 107. & I want as many capable drones as possible. The Autel & Potensic dont have Geofencing. I haven't opened my Autel yet, I'm contemplating sending it back, because of all tbe horror stories about Autels customer service. I took my DJI AIR 3 out 5 miles the other day, filming in 4k 30fps & still had 30% battery life remaining once I got back. I'm seriously contemplating buying the Mavic 3 Pro on payday. If the ban passes all 2nd hand dji drones, value will skyrocket. I wouldn't sell any of mine though.

@johnmajka5404 One thing I've learned is. Nothing applies to all. If that's the reason to not use or buy autel then you should buy and drone. Dji had horror stories as well. There is no perfect company and or drone. For the record. I've had a few issues and customer service was fine for me. Nevertheless oh ok that's what's up. Happy flying
